The UR18 (Enhanced) series is a cylindrical ultrasonic sensor with analog (current/voltage) output and digital (ON/OFF) output, redesigned in detail, including the detection surface material, special protection for the detection surface, output circuit, and setting method.
The detection surface uses a newly developed material, featuring a PEEK resin film on the surface, which is covered by laser welding, significantly improving both waterproofing and durability compared to conventional products, achieving a waterproof and dustproof protection rating of IP69K.
Regarding output, both analog (current/voltage) output type and digital (ON/OFF) output type have been released. The digital output employs a "Push-Pull circuit," allowing for both PNP and NPN outputs. Depending on the application, either PNP or NPN can be selected. The setting method utilizes "qTeach," which involves holding a driver over the recessed area at the bottom of the sensor body to perform the settings.
